XYZ Type is an independent digital type foundry led by Ben Kiel and Jesse Ragan. We established XYZ Type in 2017 to merge our strengths and experience crafting typefaces and lettering and to distribute our fonts, starting with Cortado—which we collaborated on for a client before publicly releasing it. Since then, our team has grown to include typeface designer Zrinka Buljubašić, project manager Tyler Dean, and a roster of talented peers who join us as projects demand.
